Actions required when a person is exposed to CW gases:

First: - Hold your breath as long as possible in order to escape to a place with fresh air.
Place a clean cloth covering the mouth and nose.

Second: - Nerve gases are heavier than air, therefore, it is recommended to ascend to the highest floor of a building. However, in case the chemicals were outside the building, all windows and doors should be shut immediately.

Third: - Remove your clothes and wash your skin with soap and water or wipe with a piece of clean cloth.
Fourth: - In case of eye irritation, wash them immediately with drinking water for no less than 15 minutes.
Fifth: - It is highly recommended to wear gloves when helping an affected person.
Sixth: - Chemical substances are either odorless, or smell like garlic or pickled radish.
It is recommended to escape areas containing these odors to avoid exposure.
Symptoms and signs of chemical exposure are choking, coughing, blurred vision, faint and chills.

Homs, 13-02-2013:   Important and urgent warning to our people overseas:

We have recently noticed a number of foreign buyers approaching the owners of real estate in Homs, with many of the would-be purchasers coming from the Gulf states and other nations. These buyers are offering large amounts of money and immediate payment for properties of all kinds in the area. One friend of mine owns a two-storey building in the area, with the top storey destroyed and burnt out by regime bombardment, making the building completely uninhabitable. He was approached by traders in Homs who offered him seven million Saudi Riyals for the building, to be paid immediately! He of course refused. Incidents like this have happened many times, with some owners choosing to sell, given the high prices offered. Who would be buying at this time though? Our brothers in Iraq experienced similar offers during the worst period there, selling land, buildings and apartments for large amounts of money. The buyers turned out to be Iranian, with the purchases imposing a fait accompli to show their 'ownership' of the country and their power in both numbers of people present and in international affairs. We must fight against this in our country and our neighbourhoods. I hope that this warning will raise the alarm and that it will be widely published to expose their intent
